Guangzhou_day 3_blue things

In Xiazhou village there are blue water tubes everywhere. You can stop at any random location and see at least 3 blue tubes attached to the exterior of the building. I have tried to speak to these tubes all day. Not one tube has said anything to me. I then tried to speak to everything that was blue, as a drunk for whom blue remains the only landmark. In my delirium I come across, among other things, Drying Rack, Chair, Blue Mural and Protruding Ends. Nothing said anything to me.

Rope: Hello Drying Rack, I am Rope.

Drying Rack: ...

Rope: Hello?

Drying Rack: ...

Rope: You are wearing clothes.

Drying Rack: ...

Rope: You bend. Is it not heavy to wear all those clothes?

Drying Rack: ...

Rope: I can imagine your work gets lighter as the clothes become drier.

Drying Rack: ...

Rope: Hello Blue Mural.

Blue Mural: ...

Rope: I am Rope.

Blue Mural: ...

Rope: Are you a piece of sky that has fallen down?

Blue Mural: ...

Rope: Hello?

Blue Mural: ...

Rope: Nihao?

Blue Mural: ...

Rope: Hellllooo?

Blue Mural: ...

Rope: Hello Chair.

Chair: ...

Rope: It is clear what you are. They do not say that of me.

Chair: ...

Rope: Have you ever doubted what you are?

Chair: ...

Rope: Maybe when you were upside down with your legs in the air like a dead goat that has gotten stiff?

Chair: ...

Rope: Hello Protruding Ends in the ground.

Protruding Ends: ...

Rope: You are three.

Protruding Ends: ...

Rope: I suppose you're having fun. I am always alone. My front end can speak with my back end but my front already knows what my back is going to say because they are part of the same thing. That isn't very interesting.

Protruding Ends: ...

Rope: Hello Protruding Ends?

Protruding Ends: ...

Rope: Hello? Nihao?

Protruding Ends: ...

I do not talk anymore. I imagine that Protruding Ends, Chair and Drying Rack slowly sink into the ground and that Blue Mural and all the blue tubes disappear into the wall and that I am the only blue thing in this village and that everyone is looking at me.

The sky is completely black with incomprehensible words.

It is 5:30 PM. The police asks us to leave Xiaozhou Village. As foreigners we are supposedly in danger because of the approaching spring festival. Ief negotiates to stay one more night. Ief, Aafke and I do not understand. Tomorrow morning we will leave Xiaozhou village and go to another place.
